Get to Know Me
I’m Sarah Beth. I’ve been an artist all my life, a hair stylist for 18 years, and a mom for 12 years. I have two little girls who are busy with sports, dance, and friends, and I love watching them grow. But I also love and need my time away from them in the salon. Being creative, spending time with my clients, listening to stories and being a part of their lives is so rewarding to me. I am grateful for the chance to connect with each person that sits in my chair.

As a child, I was always fascinated by beauty and how to create it. I loved going to the hair salon with my mom and observing the stylists. Later, I worked at that salon after school as a receptionist and loved the energy and creativity of it. Before making the choice to go to hair school I went to art school and graduated with my BFA in Fiber Arts. While I still love making art in my free time, I love the career I have built as a hairstylist where I can have fun, be creative and enjoy the flexible schedule.
My art is always with me when I am working. Color and texture were my focus in art school and that translates into the hair I do today, such as smoothing treatments and great sculpted dry haircuts. I am passionate about dimensional coloring. I love the subtle or bold transitions that can happen when you add highlights and lowlights to your hair. I relish making changes and taking my client on a journey with their color, whether it’s by season or just because!
Speaking of seasons, one of my favorite times of year is Christmastime! I have a big family that means the world to me. We spend a lot of time together, especially during the holidays, and most of the time we are eating! I love to bake and take great pride in making Christmas cookies for my clients during their pre-holiday visits! When I’m not in the salon, I love to shop, sew, spend time outside, and cart my girls to their various activities!
